Thì quá khứ đơn: cách dùng

Thì quá khứ đơn diễn tả hành động và trạng thái đã kết thúc tại một thời điểm cụ thể trong quá khứ: I visited my grandparents last weekend. Động từ có quy tắc thêm -ed (work, worked); nhiều động từ thông dụng là bất quy tắc (go, went; see, saw). Câu hỏi và câu phủ định dùng did + động từ nguyên mẫu: Did you call? I didn't call.

    Đúng: I finished it last week.
