関係詞節：使い方
関係詞節は名詞に情報を加えます。人には who、物には which、人と物の両方に that、所有には whose、場所には where を使います。制限用法はどれのことかを特定します：The woman who called is my aunt. 非制限用法はコンマの間に補足情報を加えます：My aunt, who lives in Rome, called.

よくある間違い
誤:
The man which lives next door is a doctor.正: The man who lives next door is a doctor.
人には who か that を使う。
誤:
My brother, that lives in Paris, is a chef.正: My brother, who lives in Paris, is a chef.
コンマで挟む節には that を使わない。
誤:
That's the house where I was born in.正: That's the house where I was born.
where は前置詞の意味を含む。
誤:
The book that I bought it is good.正: The book that I bought is good.
目的語を代名詞で繰り返さない。
