冠詞（a, an, the）：使い方
英語には不定冠詞 a/an と定冠詞 the があります。a/an は初めて話題にする、または多くの中の一つを表す単数の可算名詞に付けます（a dog, an hour）。the は聞き手がどれのことか分かっているときに使います（the dog next door）。複数形や不可算名詞で一般的なことを言うときは冠詞を付けません：Dogs are loyal.
