Used to e would: come funziona
Used to + infinito descrive abitudini e stati del passato che non sono più veri: I used to live in Lima. Anche would + infinito descrive azioni ripetute nel passato, ma non stati: Every summer we would swim in the lake. Per un'abitudine presente si usa be used to + -ing: I'm used to getting up early.
