Past Simple ve Past Continuous: nasıl kullanılır

Past Continuous (was/were + -ing), geçmişte belirli bir anda süren bir eylemi anlatır: At 8 pm I was cooking. Past Simple ile birlikte, onu kesen daha kısa bir eylemi gösterir: I was cooking when the phone rang. Past Simple tek başına biten olayları sırayla anlatır: I cooked, ate and went to bed.
