What are IELTS Listening Lessons?
IELTS listening lessons are dictation practice with full IELTS Listening recordings. 288 lessons come from Cambridge IELTS books 3 to 20 and 56 from recent actual tests, covering all four parts of the test. A typical recording lasts about four and a half minutes and is split into about 70 lines. You type each line and the checker marks every word. Levels run from B1 to C1.
Why Prepare with IELTS Listening Lessons?
IELTS Listening has four parts and 40 questions, and each recording is played once. Many answers are names, numbers and words you must spell correctly. Dictation trains exactly that: hearing every word clearly enough to write it down.

How can I practice IELTS listening with dictation?
Each IELTS recording is split into short lines. Play a line, type what you hear and press "Check Answer": every word is marked correct, wrong or missing, and small typos count as "Almost!". Replay or slow down any line, then read the full transcript.
What Cambridge IELTS books are included?
Cambridge IELTS books 3 through 20, with 16 lessons per book (four tests of four parts each), plus 56 lessons from recent actual tests. You can filter the list by level or open one test part directly.
Is this suitable for IELTS exam preparation?
Yes. The lessons use official Cambridge IELTS recordings, so the voices, topics and speed match the test. They train listening and spelling; practise the question types with the books or official sample tests as well.
What CEFR levels are covered?
The lessons run from B1 to C1: about 110 at B1, 170 at B2 and 65 at C1. Start with B1 and move up a level when you can type most lines correctly on the first try.
Which countries accept IELTS for immigration?
IELTS is accepted for immigration to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK, among other countries. Each government sets its own minimum scores and changes them from time to time, so confirm the current figure on the official immigration website.
What IELTS band score do I need for Australia or Canada?
It depends on the visa. Australian skilled visas and Canada's Express Entry both set minimums for each skill, and Canada converts IELTS bands to its own CLB levels. Check the official immigration site for your visa before you set a target band.
Is IELTS Academic or General Training better for me?
Choose Academic for university admission and General Training for most work and migration routes. The Listening test is the same in both versions, so every lesson here works for either.
