There is และ there are: ใช้อย่างไร

There is ใช้กับคำนามเอกพจน์และนามนับไม่ได้ there are ใช้กับคำนามพหูพจน์ เพื่อบอกว่ามีบางสิ่งอยู่หรืออยู่ที่ใด เช่น There's a park near my house. There are two banks on this street. ในคำถามให้วาง is หรือ are ไว้หน้า (Is there a lift?) และในประโยคปฏิเสธใช้ any เช่น There aren't any chairs.
