Present continuous: ใช้อย่างไร

Present continuous คือ am/is/are + กริยาเติม -ing ใช้กับสิ่งที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นขณะพูด (I'm reading) สถานการณ์ชั่วคราว (She's staying with friends this week) และแผนในอนาคตที่ตกลงไว้แล้ว (We're flying to Rome on Friday) ระวังการสะกด: make → making, swim → swimming, lie → lying

ข้อผิดพลาดที่พบบ่อย

   ผิด: She reading a book.

   ถูก: → She is reading a book.

   อย่าลืม am, is หรือ are

   ผิด: They are swiming.

   ถูก: → They are swimming.

   ซ้ำพยัญชนะตัวท้าย: swimming

   ผิด: I am liking this song.

   ถูก: → I like this song.

   like เป็นกริยาแสดงสภาพ
